Arizona Constitution Article 2, Section 2.1 Victim’s Bill of Rights

If you or someone important to you are the victim of a crime, you have rights, including the right to restitution if you’ve suffered financial loss.  Those rights are protected by the Arizona Constitution, but sadly, those protections aren’t always enough.  As the victim of a crime, you’ve already been through so much.  Imagine then having your voice silenced by an indifferent system that believes as long as they send you a letter notifying you of court dates and plea offers, they have satisfied those rights.
